LAGOS, NIGERIA — Afrobeats star Davido is set to return to Lagos for a three-night concert residency at the National Theatre in December, bringing his latest album, Oriadé, to a Nigerian stage while marking 15 years of his music career.
The residency, titled “ORIADÉ: The Residency,” is scheduled for December 17, 18 and 19, 2026, at the newly remodelled National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos. Davido announced the project on his social-media platforms, describing it as a homecoming after 15 years in music.

Three Nights in Lagos
The concerts will feature performances from Oriadé alongside songs from across Davido's catalogue.
The residency is being presented as a major homecoming for the Nigerian singer, whose career has taken him from Lagos to major international stages. His management says the shows will be the first live Nigerian presentation of Oriadé.
The National Theatre, located in Iganmu, Lagos, is one of Nigeria's principal cultural venues and has undergone extensive remodelling.
Celebrating 15 Years of Davido
The December concerts will coincide with Davido's 15th anniversary in music.
He first gained widespread recognition in 2011 with Dami Duro, before releasing songs including Aye, If and Fall. His career subsequently expanded into international touring and collaborations with artists from different parts of the world.
The residency will therefore combine material from his latest album with selections from the catalogue built over his career.
Bringing Oriadé Home
Released in July 2026, Oriadé is Davido's sixth studio album and includes collaborations with artists such as Leon Thomas, Black Sherif, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola and Llona.
The Lagos shows are expected to give fans an opportunity to experience the album alongside some of Davido's earlier hits.
Davido's Message on the Venue
Davido has said the residency is also intended to demonstrate the ability of African artists to stage major international-standard productions at home.
In comments reported by Vanguard, he said the event would help show international audiences that Africa has facilities capable of hosting major music productions.
The choice of the National Theatre also places the concerts within a venue closely associated with Nigeria's performing-arts history.
Tickets
Davido's management has announced that tickets are scheduled to go on sale September 25, 2026, with members of his 30BG fan community receiving early-access opportunities.
The three performances are scheduled for:

- December 18, 2026
- December 19, 2026
All three shows will take place at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.
The residency adds another major event to Lagos' end-of-year entertainment calendar and places one of Nigeria's most internationally recognised Afrobeats artists on one of the country's most prominent cultural stages.
